Words can poison and destroy a young man's entire life. (Proverbs 7)

Right advice guaranteed safety and protection. "In the multitude of counselors, there is safety." (Proverbs 11:14)

Any man who controls his mouth is literally protecting his own life. "He that keepeth his mouth keepeth his life." (Proverbs 13:3a)

Those who talk too much will eventually be destroyed. "He that openeth wide his lips shall have destruction." (Proverbs 13:3b)

Right words can turn an angry man into a friend and wrong words can turn a friend into an enemy. "A soft answer turneth away wrath: but grievous words stir up anger." (Proverbs 15:11)

Your words reveal whether you are wise or a fool. "The tongue of the wise useth knowledge aright; but the mouth of fools poureth out foolishness." (Proverbs 15:2)

Right words breathe life into everything around you. "A wholesome tongue is a tree of life." (Proverbs 15:4a)

The purpose of words is to educate, enthuse and enlarge those around you. "The lips of the wise disperse knowledge." (Proverbs 15:7a)

Your happiness is influenced by the words that come out of your own mouth. "A man hath joy by the answer of his mouth: and a word spoken in due season, how good is it!" (Proverbs 15:23)

The quality of your words reveals the quality of your heart. "An ungodly man diggeth up evil; and in his lips there is as brining fire." (Proverbs 16:27. You can read the heart of any person by listening to the words they are speaking about others.)

Words will quickly expose envy and jealousy or admiration and respect. "An ungodly man diggeth up evil: and in his lips there is as a burning fire." (Proverbs 16:27)

The greatest friendships on earth are broken because of wrong words. "A whisperer separateth chief friends." (Proverbs 16:28b)

Strife can always be traced to someone's words. "A forward man soweth strife." (Proverbs 16:28a)

You should not answer anything until you have heartd all the details. "He that answereth a matter before he heareth it, it is folly and shame unto him." (Proverbs 18:13). Accuracy is only important when adequate information is available.

This is almost never mentioned in prosperity teaching today. Yet using wrongs words can get you fired or prevent you from getting promoted.
